This week I worked for a company based in New York, Alliance for a Healthier Generation. This non-profit was founded by the American Heart association and the William J Clinton Foundation. One of the major partners is the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which just made another huge donation so that the organization has funding for a few more years. This company is changing the food that children are offered at school all around the country, allowing healthier options for children. I am passionate about any organization that is helping change the diet that we have accepted as decent. Kudos!I had the opportunity to document this event. Former President Clinton did a fabulous job in recognizing the difference that this alliance has made in this country and Michelle Kwan was also a guest of honor as she is equally passionate about health and fighting childhood obesity in this country. I was proud that such an event took place here in Little Rock, Arkansas. Here is the website, so that you can learn more about this organization, www.healthiergeneration.org.
