A sweet night

Time passes so fast.  Today Chris and I celebrated our nineteenth year of marriage.  We just got back from a trip and tonight I wanted to cook, I think I was sick of eating out.  His German Grandmother’s soup began to stew by 11:00 am.  I opened the windows and all day smelled a mixture of fall and Omi soup.  As the kids ran through the door from school, they all commented on how the house smelled.  We all put on our hoodies and ate our soup outside, seeing the trees change and all of the crunch on the ground already.  After we ate, Chris and I talked about how we felt the day I walked down the aisle to him, as we were married at sunset.  We had a moment that I will never forget, seeing these three little faces that we get to raise.  Although the moment was short, it was beautiful.  Tonight I am thankful, and so here are a few images of LOVE, LEAVES and little people.  amen.
